Area 52 Games

I designed a new wimsical web presence and brand for Area 52 Games. Based around parallax scrolling, I worked closely with the lead web developer to ensure he had all the assets to engineer a modern website using technologies such as HTML5 jQuery and CSS3.

Cats With Swords

This was a landing page designed to monazite traffic from a Facebook campaign. There were three logos designed for three different names for a new mobile game the studio created. Customers voted on what logo and name they liked the most which helped us choose what we would ultimately name the game.

Marvel Avengers

Hasbro’s Marvel Avengers website was in need of a facelift before the movie hit the theaters. Hasbro provided the wireframes, style guide, character assets and this is the concept I came up with. I went with a urban feel from the texture of a grungy street, city scape of a comic strip to the dramatic lines of the navigation menu.

Transformers/Bot-Shots

Hasbro launched a new toy targeted at 7-14 year olds called BotShots. They needed a web based game and website to help promote the new toy. I was part of a team of designers, developers and testers that created the game and website. My job was to help design concepts, navigation and page designs for both gameplay and web page design.

Microsoft needed to revamp a Microsoft Dynamics marketing portal from the ground up. I was the lead UX designer where I provided the client with numerous solutions to user experience problems. After multiple client presentations the client signed off on the wireframes. I then designed the look and feel of the entire portal following strict Microsoft Dynamics brand guidelines.

Lionfish Creative

Lionfish is a creative and marketing firm that needed a new fresh modern web design. I first created the UX experience and after multiple client presentations with different versions and mood boards we moved onto the design. The client wanted to have a blue underwater feel, one page design, portfolio section with a clean and modern design.

These are other examples of work I have done for Microsoft’s different brands. One example is a Landing page and web banner design I created for a co-brand campaign with Mastercard and Visa. The second example is a digital newsletter I created for IT Pro Evangelism Field Newsletter and the third is a landing page I designed for MS Office.

This is the mobile version of the new redesign of my personal portfolio and brand. It was important that the new site functioned on a desktop, tablet and mobile devices. I wanted a super clean and professional look and feel. Sierra Wireless

Sierra Wireless launched two mobile hot spots this year and they needed a mobile application to promote the new products to both sales representatives and consumers. I was the lead UX designer for his project as well as the lead UI designer. The application ended up being four pages complete with product shots, descriptions and video.

Superhero Squad

Superhero Squad had a problem: new customers could only sign up online. They needed a solution that allowed new customers to sign up on mobile phones. It was my job to follow the look and feel of the website, follow wireframes provided by the Creative Director and create a 9 step sign up process for mobile devices.

Starwars Attack Squadrons

I was the lead UX designer, contributed to a large protion of the UI and general look and feel of the game.

Star Wars: Attack Squadrons allowed players to customise their own versions of iconic Star Wars ships such as X-Wings and TIE fighters, with multiplayer fights of up to 16 players.

Microsoft Flight

I worked as a UI Designer for Microsoft Flight until they closed their doors in August of 2012. I designed numerous UI and UX solutions. These solutions included a new recommendation engine, loading screen, quit screen, Steam advertising banners and video trailers.

Microsoft Paper Planes

During my time at Microsoft Studios we split off into teams of 3 developers, 1 game designer, 1 project manager and 1 artist. We were tasked with creating a working prototype of a new game that worked on the new Windows Operating system. I designed the UX/UI for all menus, title screens, gameplay and all the sound design for the entire game.

Internet Identity

Internet Identity had a new technology called Active Trust Resolver and they needed a 3 minute animation to distribute via their website and youtube channel. The client provided the script and it was my job to design the storyboard, create the animation and sync it to VO in After Effects.
